The Noord Holland Friendship Club was formed in February 2003 by a group of Dutch Nationals and English speaking Expatriates with like-minded ideas towards helping others to blend more easily into Dutch culture.

Some of our members have recently moved to Holland and were not easily able to find a contact group. There were  plenty in the South of Holland but not in the North. We want you to feel that you can phone us at any time to get the information you need quickly and efficiently and meet new friends for recreation and communication. We like to think of The Noord Holland Friendship Club as rather unique in providing a personal service to newcomers to Holland. 

We understand how scary it can be for some people when they move to a new country and are not sure about how to go about getting what they want. On the following page is a list of the kind of things we can offer you. Our meetings are monthly, and are held at different venues around the district of Alkmaar, Bergen and Heiloo. The aim is to have fun and meet new friends, as well as being guided into Dutch society with a gentle approach to learning the language. We hope to go on some guided tours locally, and most of us can offer a small skill to help make your time with us interesting as well as welcoming.

We wish to invite you to join our group and a membership form will be sent to you upon request. When the form has been completed and returned we will add you to our membership list and forward further details of the meetings, which are normally posted on the Events page.
